Chantecaille: Where luxury beauty is elegantly entangled with wildlife efforts creating the most luxe packaging filled with timeless colors!
Chantecaille is easily one of my favorite beauty brands. My introduction to Chantecaille was the Sylvie Mermaid Eyeshadow (I bought two backups just because I love the shade so much!) a few years ago. Over time I have added multiple Chantecaille products expanding my makeup options (my toxic trait is convincing myself I need to buy more makeup)! Most recently, I purchased the Chantecaille Real Bronze in Goa, Les Paillettes Highlighter and Radiance Chic Cheek Highlighter Duo in Coral Manta Ray to add to my Chantecaille collection! Here are my thoughts on my newest Chantecaille additions:
Real Bronze is Chantecaille’s first finely milled gel-powder bronzer formulated with pearl pigment technology creating a soft aerated texture and gives the skin a healthy bronze glow. I expected the bronzer to have a bouncier texture, but it’s slightly stiff in the pan. The sunburst mandala motif embossing is so beautiful I’m reluctant to mess it up with my makeup brush (detailed embossing is such eye candy)! Goa is a rich medium cocoa brown bronzer with a reddish undertone and slight sheen. While I love the warmth of Goa it’s slightly too warm for my fair skin (it works for summer, but I need a lighter shade for winter). I apply it very lightly with a fluffy powder brush to warm up my face to avoid Goa looking too dark. If you have a medium to a light brown skin tone (think Halle Berry) Goa would be the PERFECT shade for you! I hope to get my hands on the Sirena bronzer soon which I think will be a better shade match for my fair skin tone. One of the tips I was given by a Chantecaille makeup artist (Ramiro) is to use Goa with a light hand as bronzer and apply it as an eyeshadow. Ramiro’s advice was top-notch as I love Goa as an eyeshadow! Although Goa plays off my green blue eyes I also used it on my sister’s warm brown eyes and it was equally as beautiful on her eyes! I like to use it as my main eyeshadow when I’m in a rush or use it as a crease shade to tie in my bronzer! Thank you Ramiro!

Radiance Chick Cheek and Highlight Duo in Coral Manta Ray is a newer limited edition release from Chantecaille. It comes in a beautiful blue package with a manta ray on the component (this reminds me of being in the Caribbean admiring beautiful sea creatures during vacation). On the inside is a beautiful coral cheek shade and a lustrous highlighter that compliments the coral blush perfectly! The blush shade is a true coral, but it’s not heavily pigmented in such a way that you’ll accidentally apply too much in one pass. This is more of a buildable cheek shade. You can create a light natural flush of color with a light hand or apply more for a deeper color payoff! The blush has a slight sheen to it which helps impart a natural youthful glow to the skin. I don’t know about you, but I love any blush product that imparts a healthy glow! The highlighter in this duo has a light champagne shift and micro glitter reflects that reflect beautifully in natural light. Something I appreciate and love about Chantecaille is that the products always look good in natural light! Les Paillettes: This has quickly become one of my favorite highlighters! Les Paillettes has solved my desire for combining a soft sheer pink and muted gold in one product! Mixing the two highlight shades creates a beautiful airbrushed look of a soft pink rose gold shade. When the sun reflects off the pink shade in this highlight duo you can see a beautiful sheen that looks vibrant, yet somehow muted. What I love is that the highlighters do not look powdery or metallic on the skin. Les Paillettes creates the perfect lit from within glow that makes your skin look supple and photographs exceptionally well! Chantecaille’s products are incredibly flattering in photography, and that’s something you grow to appreciate if you’re taking photos! Chantecaille’s formulations provide the option to create a more natural subdued look or they can be built up for a full glam look! These products are so easily to apply, blend and last all day!
