I recently received the Stila Heaven's Hue Highlighter in Incandescence and I have one word for you: WOW! This highlighter is absolutely beautiful from the packaging to the component and formulation. The Stila component is a beautiful gold that looks like luxury packaging, and it's super lightweight. I traveled to Wrightsville Beach, NC recently for vacation and this was a go-to highlighter for me! The texture is bouncy, not powdery and it's so lightweight you will not notice it on your skin. It provides a very soft lit from within glow, which is my favorite type of everyday highlighter!
*All photos were taken in natural light at the beach and the colors have not been altered. Yes, it's really this beautiful in person!
The Stila Heaven's Hue Highlighter in Incandescence is a soft shade of pink that looks absolutely stunning in natural light! It does not collect in my pores or emphasize texture which can happen with certain highlighters I have tried! The texture is incredibly unique and applying with a dense brush or your finger provides the best application. I recommend trying both methods of application and decide what works best for you. I prefer applying Stila Heaven's Hue Highlighter with my fingers because I cannot get enough of this bouncy yet buttery texture! Sometimes a product is so silky smooth that you want to touch it, and this is one of those products! Don't forget to wash your hands before touching your makeup products to avoid contaminating with bacteria.
Stila Heaven's Hue Highlighter Incandescence Swatched on my finger. Do you notice how the highlighter laid in my fingerprint rather than sitting on top? It magically melts into the skin as though it were a liquid highlighter! After I took this photo and uploaded it to my computer I was floored! Remember I said I had one word to describe the Stila Heaven's Hue Highlighter? Wow! This Stila Highlighter is one of those products that you try and it inspires you to want all the shades. Have you ever found a makeup product from a brand and the formulation was so beautiful that you wanted to pick up more than one? I wore the Stila Heaven's Hue Highlighter while at the beach and it LASTED. I was in near 90 degree temperature and loaded with SPF (I wear super light acne friendly tinted SPF).
As you can see the light plays a BIG role in how you see the Stila Heaven's Hue highlighter. I think it really shines in natural sunlight! It does not have chunky glitter in the highlighter. It is truly silky soft with an incredible lay down of product! The Stila Heaven's Hue Highlighter feels so luxe and simply stunning! The formulation being bouncy and dense means this one pan of highlighter will go a LONG way. I suspect it will take months or more to hit pan and if you're not someone who uses highlighter every single day it will take even longer to make a dent in the Stila Heaven's Hue Highlighter! WOW. Just WOW!
I did a closeup of the Stila Heaven's Hue Highlighter to showcase the complexity of this highlighter to give you a deeper dive into the iridescence and magnificence of this product! You can see reflects of glitter particles, except it's not chunky glitter. It's very soft, lightweight, buildable, and bouncy. When I think about a summery highlighter this is what I envision!
